| Aug 27, 2007 - This morning, I got a call from a good friend of Richie's informing me that somebody else was doing the booking for Richie and that there was a new web site. I checked the new web site and found it to be true.
I have heard nothing official from Richie or his parents, but this does not surprise me. Since Richie's sidemen quit the band on Jul 21, 2007, things have been tense to say the least. I started working with Richie on July 31, 2004 and many of the memories of the past three years I will cherish always. And I wish the very best for Richie in the future. He is a very talented young man. Thank you to all who have supported Richie Lee the past three years! - - - But life goes on! - - - Since leaving Richie's band, Steve Breese and Mike Lozano, along with newcomer Lenny Hudson, have started a new band called the "Rivieras". They have asked me to run their web site and to help promote the band. I have enthusiastically agreed. I am honored to be working with this group! - - - - - - Sep 14, 2007 - I have received many phone calls and e-mails asking me to forward the url to Richie's new web site or to put a link on this page. Since I was never told that Richie was going with a new webmaster and agent, I feel no obligation to promote Richie or his new web site. You will have to find it yourself! I'm sorry that it has come to this, but I am very comfortable with my decision. |
